2084 headlights
I’ve had my 2084 for several years now and love it. Recently I’ve been fixing it up a little. It has never had headlights since I’ve owned it, and I’m trying to remedy that. There is a housing that attaches to the back of the grill that the automotive style headlight bulbs screw into. I am missing that part and for the life of me can’t find a replacement anywhere. Can’t find a part # on any of the schematics I’ve found. Any help would he much appreciated.

What style does it have? Like a full glass headlight or like this:

The housing the lights attach to is part of the grille. If it's missing, you need a whole grille shell.

Terry C, It has the same kind of headlights as in your picture.

Are you sure you don’t have the big glass headlight style? I have both kinds on my cyclops. The glass style looks like a big hole. |

Plug in bulb style:
Pay no mind to what looks like glue holding a bracket in there. It’s not holding it in there. |

This is what I’ve got. Maybe the PO changed the grill. Does the part where the bulbs screw in have a part number? It looks like both of the grills in your pictures are the same except for the bulb “bucket” in the second pic. It looks to me like that part would screw right onto my grill. What do you think?

Sorry I didn’t follow thru with this. The plastic part that appears to be glued on in mine is not. It’s part of the grill. Yours was probably replaced at one time. So was mine on the 2182 in the pic. I’m not aware that the screw in bulb bracket was a part you could buy. Maybe you could find a broken grill and saw it off. |
