3 Point Hitch for 3000 Series??

Anyone know where I may able to find a 3 point hitch for my 3205?

Id try one of the links at the top of the page. Or if you have a bookface, I'm reasonably sure I just saw one on the free auction page

Good luck finding one:angry: I don't know of anyone making an aftermarket version yet so prices are sky high. If you can find a complete one for $500 or less, jump on it, that is about what they bring on EPay. I picked this one up for my 3205 about 6 years ago for $200.:beerchug: There are 2 versions of the hitch for the 3k tractors. The early version with the twin disc brakes take the 365 hitch and the later machines take the 207 hitch.

Thanks the heads up. Mine has twin disc. I'm a metal worker, so even if it was close, I could probably make it work. I'll keep my eyes open I guess.

I think I've read the later 207 kit will fit on the older models but not the other way around. I believe the redesign was done because the inboard mounted brake required a new kit due to clearance issues by the rear axle.

I've seen a few for John Deere's, sorry for the profanity:ExtremeFunny:, that I wondered if I could fabricate to make it work. We'll see how desperate I get.

Fabricating the metal parts wouldn't be very hard to do. The hard part would be getting all the other stuff figured out. The two hoses going towards the bottom of the picture go to the cylinder.

You will need a valve block from a Cyclops or 3k machine like this.
Attachment 96684

You will need one of these to couple it with the mid mount lift block.
Attachment 96683

You will also need the lift link and lever for the valve.

As I said, it is possible to do but there are a lot of tight bends on the lines that are stuffed under the fender pan.

Here are some of the parts needed for a factory looking setup. You will need to fab the lift cylinder too because it is special to the rear lift.

Good luck and let us know how it goes and don't forget to take lots of pics for us.:beerchug:

Nice looking 3205 Oak. Do you still have it?

I agree. Mines pretty rough, but it gets the job done.

Thanks guys. Yes, I still have it and it is my go to mower but not this year because it has been in my shop for a rear end leak. I hope to have it finished soon.
