The 1482 got a rattle can face lift
 

I took advantage of some warm days and freshened up the paint and did some maintenance on the 1482. The 44c deck got new Valspar Cub beige paint, blades sharpened and a new drive belt while the pto got a new bearing. The tractor got Van Sickle IH red paint, brakes adjusted and hydro linkage freed up. I made some new rubber pads for the foot rests from an $11 porch mat from Lowe's.

Sorry I have been away for a few days and slow to respond. I appreciate the compliments on the Cub. It started life as a 782, but when I got it the engine was blown, so I installed a 14 that I had removed from a 1450 a few years ago.
It runs well, but I would like to replace it with either a Kubota D662 or 16 HP Vanguard which I have. The Kubota may not be worth the effort to convert. I sure miss the 1782 that I let a friend have. The tires are Tru Powers. I have been running them without fluid, but I just bought tubes so when it warms up a little they will get filled.

Tractor looks great! Do you have a part number for the rattle can Valspar Cub beige paint you used? I use the Valspar Cub yellow exclusively and have had great luck, but so far have not found the beige. Thanks.
