Hard time finding plow attachments

Hey everyone, I am having a very hard time finding a complete snow plow attachment for my 1861. Around Ohio they are very hard to come by a I guess. Anyone have any ideas on where to locate one or possibly selling one themselves?

What kind of snow plow are you looking for? 42" wideframe plow attachments are extremely common just about anywhere.

Go to Craigslist and do a search for Cub Cadet and you should find a 1/2 dozen

Not to highjack this thread but whats the difference between a wideframe and a cyclops frame ? I had a 1812 that had a 551 snowblower and I reused it on my 1864 and it was slightly different , After mounting the blower to the 1864 I had no room to put the pulley cover on the snowblower itself back on like I could when it was on the 1812 .

They are basically the same frame. The cyclops one has a few additional holes, IIRC. The bodywork is different though and that's where you'll run into clearance issues.

Yeah it will fit with a little bit of grinding, but the cyclops subframe is a little different. The blades are identical though.

I don't see as many cyclops blades floating around, but the subframe would be pretty easy to modify to fit properly.

I have been searching Craigslist face book and other places. I should have put in the tread earlier I am not sure on which mine calls. I got the 1861 last summer from a friend and know nothing on it except I can not find another mower built as strong. I have spent the past three months restoring it back to new and have no clue what plow I need. Yeah now there's a ton of snow on the ground I am trying to find one... typical huh.
