I'd look for a linear actuator to replace the whole thing. :beerchug:

It looks like they still make one almost like the one on the Cubs.

Following the admins usual advice and checking the sponsors at the top of the page found me all sorts of electric lift parts, including motors.

I just replaced mine with an Ironton electric actuator 3 15\16" stroke from Northern Tool. Bought it on Amazon for $119 plus tax and $9 shipping. So far works like a champ.

Linear Actuator

Hi all:

I am considering installing an electric linear actuator on one of my Cub Cadets (either the 100 or 122). I am wondering if anyone has any pictures of such an install (factory or after-market). If so, can they post them here. I am hoping to use the linear actuator to raise and lower my snow plow. As a result, I need to fab up some brackets at a minimum.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!
