Starter Pulley Loose on Shaft

1 Attachment(s)
A while ago I bought two non running 129’s. https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...ad.php?t=54843

I’m ready to try getting one running. I went to put the starter pulley on, and it is very loose on the shaft. I think it is worn oblong. Is there anything I can do temporarily to get it running? I don’t want to spend money until I know if the engine is any good. The other engine had a good pulley, but I broke it trying to get it off :bash2:.

Looks like you will need at least one good pulley.

You can always try the old rope a dope start trick, put a 3" or 4" pulley on the pto end.BTDT
