102 Mule drive question
 

Hello all I have a question regarding the mule drive on a cub 102. I am buying a 102 on Saturday that does not have a deck or mule drive currently. I currently own cubs that have to quick attach mule drive and have several spares. Is there a special mule drive/deck that a 102 needs or can I use an existing deck for the narrow and wide frames I already own and can a quick attach mule drive be adapted?

The 102 would have come with a NF mule drive for a pin on deck. Your mule drives are for the QA feature for the later NF cubs and the QA decks and will be different. Anything can be modified to work if you are crafty enough, so you can get them to work. If you are not concerned about leaving the 102 totally original, then I would weld on the QA feature to it to make it more compatible with your existing stock.

Because your cub is likely to have the original 10 hp engine on it, you probably would not want to put the 48" deck on it as it tends to bog down the engine in tall grass.
