129 deck on a 127
 

I have a 127 with a 42 inch deck that has seen better days. I have a 44 inch deck off a 129 including the mule drive and all the lift mechanism, I would like to put the 129 deck on the 127. Anyone done this, tips or tricks on how to proceed?

There is NO adapting package for your plan. The NF tractors had a Wheelbase of 43", while the WF tractors had a 44" wheelbase. The 44" mower deck may be a "tight fit" if one was to custom fabricate a Mule Drive and Lift Mechanism.

I noticed you are a whose ear (Hoosier). If you are can wait a little while, then you can go to Portland, Indiana in August for the Small Engine Show and find lots of cub cadet parts....and decks that will bedazzle your eyes and tickle your inards! You could also advertise on the forum under the Wanted section and see if someone has one close to you. Heck, I might even know someone close to you that has one for your applications......where in Indiana is yee?

Located in Brazil, IN. Been collecting for a while, enough parts to Frankenstien a narrow frame together :biggrin2: I have 2 - 44" decks with belt covers and no rust, messed around trying different lift parts to make it work. After trial and error have decided to repair the rusted areas on the NF decks.

Been to Portland a while back and going this year. Only on word to describe it.....AWESOME!!!
