Spindle size

Does anyone have a 147 that knows the diameter of the front wheel spindles?..
I am looking to strengthen the front on my 129 and trying to figure out which tractors would have 1" spindles...thank you

The one inch spindles started in Mid Production of the Quietlines series of tractors. Any tractor with a serial number of <632501 will have the 3/4" spindles.

Unless after 40 + years someone has up/down graded them.

Don't need a fancy caliper, a yard stick will reveal a quarter inch difference.:biggrin2:

I’d like to hope I could tell the difference by eye at 1/4”.
