Cub Cadet 122 Drive/Clutch Question
The Clutch shaft that I need to replace in my Cub Cadet 122 (without a creeper)is 18.190 long.
I bought a piece of .625 dia 1144 stress proof however I cut it 18.140 long, .050 short. My question is, will the shaft being .050 short be a problem? Thanks, James |
Might be alright if the holes are drilled and measured from the rear coupler forward. That leaves it .050 short in the pilot bushing in the drive plate. Might not work so well the other way around. Mike:beerchug:

You're talking about less than 1/16th of an inch. Hardly seems worth a sweat as long as all the pin holes are drilled in the right places.

Thank you guys for your input
