Well I don't know what you have other than it is a PO mod. The 2182 should have a Haban plow.

I know it should have the 54", and I have no idea what a PO mod is. Wasn't looking for criticism if that's what that is. I was looking for identification help.

Looks like a Simplicity blade.

Previous Owner modification......that's a plow that someone fabbed up themselves using an IH subframe. I see there's a pulley/ cable lift fabbed up too. Doesn't look bad really....you'll need to assess how durable/well built it is in person though.

It wasn't criticism, it was an observation.

To go along with what Sam stated, it is a NON OEM Dozer blade. Again, it looks like a custom fabrication, thus it is impossible to ID the thing.

I go to see it on Sunday, the owner says it works very well but the shoes are worn. If I don't learn what blade it is I will have to have some fabbed up for it if I buy it.

If I were to switch to the Haban blade, is there anything done to this that isn't reversible?

What would be needed along with the 54" blade, If I were to make it all correct?

Thanks all for your help.

I had no idea what PO was and you do run into wise asses on message boards from time to time. So I apologize for thinking the worst, but in my defense, the poster could have been clearer, I am not up on all your shorthand.

So if you will let it go, and give me a clean slate I will be more patient and ask before I assume something is bad in the future. Mea Culpa.

PO = Previous Owner

IF.....the blade is well fabricated, then there is no point in changing it out.

PO. Yes, SS5150 covered that for me in the post above. Thank you.

As far as if I decide to replace it. it will be a matter of how well it is done and personal satisfaction and desire. Won't be immediately if I decide to buy, but at a future date determined by funds and parts availability.

I just wanted to know what it would take to set it correct...
