Ignition switch for lights????

What do you guys think of using aftermarket push-pull ignition switch as light switch? These switches are for many older IH, Farmall and Cub tractors. It looks very much like the old light switches on narrow frames!

I'd run it. I couldnt see a amp rating but appears to be basically the same thing as a cub cadet light switch. I'm sure it could handle a few small bulbs

Reliable and aftermarket in the same sentence worries me...
They are the same switch, just the knob if different.

A quick search for "NAPA push pull electric switch" brought up this one for $18.49

Call me El Cheapo, but 36 bucks (after shipping) strikes me as a tad high for a simple light switch.

What do those switches cost when you factor in the $119 yearly subscription fee for Amazon Prime????? :bigthink:

I dont pay 119$. I got locked in at 69$ I placed 70 orders so far this year that all shipped free. I also get amazon prime music and streaming video. Theres some other perks as well. You can buy without prime and pay shipping just like you would from ebay. Obviously if you dont use amazon much it might not pay to get prime. But I think there is still a savings without prime on many products. I do most my xmas shopping, parts for shop, other stuff for house, I bought my sons school supplies etc. Without leaving the house! Bonus :biggrin2:

I see the price advertised is 12.99 a month or 119$ . My mistake. I paid 89$ upfront for the year so I got a discount for not paying monthly. I see now if you do the 12.99$ month there is no contract cancel anytime. So if you had a bunch of stuff to buy in a month you could activate it, shop, and only pay $12.99 for the month then cancel. I get most stuff next day with prime even tho they only guarantee 2 day. Most is shipped faster.
