RECENT seat purchases

Been toying with buying some replacement Cadet seats. Now for those of you that have bought one within the last 6 months or so, Where did you go for as close to original as possible AND at a great price including shipping?

I've heard that CaseIH is actually selling a great seat at a great price, but that's a 4 hour trip for me and I don't know about decent shipping prices.

The models I am looking seat for are 982, 1811,2072. Also 128 and 2284.

maybe if you buy more than 2 they will ship them for free.

Couple sites have better shipping than others. There appear to be 2 or 3 seats that work on most of mine, but the reviews are all over the place. This crowd's personal experience would be my preference.

Got mine about 6 mo ago from here:

Still same price with free shipping. Not the exact seat as original but I like it better. Comfortable and well made.....:beerchug:

I got a couple from Hamilton Bob cubs and he gives a price break on multiple seats.

Check the fit before you order.

You're not replacing the bus seat!

You could check out Northern Tool (in Cary, NC). Not sure, but I think you can buy online and have them ship to the store.

Bought 2 seats and like them. Very close to the originals on my 782s.

Oh Heck No!!:biggrin2: I'm impressed someone remembered that! No the Johnny Cash special stays as is. It was built for a butt buggy about a decade before I ever bought my Kawaskai Mule. Don't tell anyone but it ALMOST got the frame stretched and a 4 cylinder power unit from a pull type combine (Deere of course) installed. Dad voted me down, said he wanted something more useful. The foot rests extension are from am 80's era Deere shipping container for their lawnmowers.

OK, 3 seats ordered. After reading all the replies I liked the ones from Milsco sold by Seat Warehouse--supposedly the exact seat as in on my 1811 and 2072. Buying form Seat Warehouse is cheaper than anywhere else, including going buying from them thru ebay. Shipping is included. I had to get a different seat than what was originally on my 2284, but as long as it functions OK, I'm fine with that. FWIW, by my research the seat is made by MILSCO and sold thru Stens, Northern Tool, Seat Warehouse, and K&M. With the holiday season, I expect to get them by the first full week of January. That's OK, they are predicting no snow to speak of here and the Cadet with the blade needs a minutes TLC, but it has an OK seat.:biggrin2:

Thanks for the reccomendations guys. I'll post pics when I get them and install them--but the way my luck is going it could be mid-March.
