190-364 blower
I am looking to buy a used 190-364 blower to install on my cub 1650. Just wanted to know if there was anything that I should be looking at to install this on my tractor. It does have the pto attachment for the front of the tractor.
Has anyone ever use this blower on a 1650? If so any pros or cons any responses will be welcomed.:BangPC: |

From the IH Owners Manual..... You will need 190-418-100 PTO Kit.

The blower does have that kit, the only thing that does not add up is the number on the blower is 195-364-100? is this a different model?. The owner sent me a picture of the ID plate. I am a bit confused now, I want to make sure it will fit my 1650.

This number has come up before even though it doesn't show in the Cub list.

I done a little more research into this in the last couple of days. The only difference I can see is paint. The 190-364 is IH White, while the 195-364 is black. What I find interesting is, that they both use the same manuals:
* Owners Manual - 772-3497 |
Thanks I did some further research and the seller has the PTO kit but it is the 419 kit for the 82 series tractors. I would need to find a 418 kit to install this to my 1650. That may be hard to find. It appears the kits are the same except the idler pulley size and how the idler spring is attached. Its a shame because the blower looks like it was hardly used with almost no surface rust on the blower housing.

The main thing is the Drive Pulley. The 82 Series tractors used a 5/8" wide belt, while the Quietlines used a 1/2" wide belt.
The idler uses a 2.25" OD on the 418 kit, while it is 4.00" on the 419 kit. The 756-0137 Idler is NLA from Cub Cadet. The best I can see, the differences between the 418 & 419 kits are the belt and idler. The belt used on the 418 is 1/2" x 37" (754-0154) is available everywhere. Just have to come up with a 2.25" Idler Pulley. Either NOS or aftermarket. |
Thanks for the additional information. The users manual also lists a different frame that these pulleys attach to. Because of that I do not think that I am going to purchase this unit. I did some checking and both frames 418 or 419 can no longer be bought. This would have been a really good addition to my cub collection. I will have to wait something may come my way.
