Idea for tiller drive on 1811
I have a 1811 that I picked up with no deck, mule drive or front clutch. I would like to make it a permanent tractor for my #1 tiller
Thinking of mounting a hydraulic pump on the front of engine and a hydro motor on the tiller. how big of a oil reserve tank would i need, if needed. and would I need to add oil cooler for hydraulic oil. just in planning stage and suggestions welcome.:beerchug: |
For a conventional reservoir used in open circuits the general rule is a tank oil capacity of 3 to 5 times the flow of the pump per minute plus a 10 percent air cushion. :bigthink:

Look up the Cub Cadet 190-002-100 Hydraulic Tiller. It was made for the 2000 series Cubs.
Or sell the 1A tiller and pick up a 400 tiller like this one that I have for sale.:beerchug: |
