Need NF Pulley diameter
OK, quick question, simple answer.......What's the diameter of the pulley on a NF Hydraulic lift Pump?
And also....what's the Diameter of the rear pulley? I have a 124....just doing the math.....I finally have everything to put my homemade pump, cylinder, and two spool control on. |
hard to see and measure the inside pulley behind the belt/drive line guard but it looks to be about 3.25-3.50, outside pulley is 6.5.
on mine the rear pulley is the one that is stock on the kohler motor and it is the one that the drive shaft coupler bolts to. hope this help you. are you using an older narrow frame pump or the power steering pump like you were talking about before? for the record the older pump is very low pressure i am pretty sure it tops out at 400psi which is fine for using the deck lift but would be under powered for any exotic applications like a front loader in my opinion. |
Thankyou very much. I assumed it was 6"...but wanted an exact number. I have a pwr steering pump from a honda....not sure what the psi is yet. But once it's all hooked up, I'll need a pressure control, and adjustable release valve so I'll have a gauge on it to get an actual reading. I would think it's between 800, and 1000psi. But this also may change due to rpm level....so the pulley needs to be correct. I've a couple friends who are big into imports so I need to ask them for the specs to the pump. I'll post the whole setup as soon as I'm there....still got several cords of wood to cut and split, and serious landscaping to button up before the cold hits.
