New member from SW Iowa
Good evening,
New member here. I am a mechanical engineer by trade and live in a small town in SW Iowa. I mostly tinker with worn out pickups and larger tractors so this is my first "small" tractor that I will be working on. So what we have is a 1966(?) 122 Cub Cadet. I don't know much about these little tractors but this one has an old Kohler engine with the standard transmission and hi-lo "creeper". It seems to be very complete and straight. Also came with a 1967(?) 123 parts tractor with the hydrostatic trans (and a stuck Kohler). I found the serial number on the 1967 but I think the serial number on the 1966 is behind the belt drive unit. The unit also came with a bunch of attachments as well: blade, snowblower, mower deck, tiller, wheel weights, and strangest of all a sickle bar mower. All the implements look to be IH branded. I have a bunch of pics to post but won't fill this post up. Not sure what the plans for this will be yet. The tractor starts right up and runs well. Erik |
