Undercarriage Tiller Pulley Attachment?
 

I'll be purchasing my first sleeve hitch for my 1250 via a Facebook seller many states away (wish me luck) age years of searching for one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've been wanting it specifically for a bottom plow and tiller. I came across this today and was wondering if anyone here made it and had some more details, pictures, or a write up on making a copy.

It seems so much more stable than a 1/2" belt running the length of the tractor, not to mention economical when it's time to replace the belts.

Been running a 1650 with the OEM belt on my 2A now for 8 seasons w/no issues.
And I till about a dozen gardens every spring plus my own.
Sounds like a solution looking for a problem.
The reason he has a bigger belt is because his PTO has a bigger sheave.

Doesn't the 143" belt cost $50 or more?

On a side note, I'm having a hard time finding how the 1250 hydro kit connects. I don't have a spring assist or hydro lift, but I'd like to retrofit the hydraulic ram for the lift.

Another side note, I think I need to clean my diff and relief valves before I add any of this on the tractor...

Hydro lift kit???

You will need a ported pump to do that.

Check the parts lookup for exploded views of the hydraulic lift assl'y.

I take it your 1250 has a manual lift like most did?

I have a line on a manifold I guess you would call it, where all the lines connect, the ram and the lines. I'd just like to know where they connect to on the transaxle.

personally I like the jack shaft idea ! when I was a kid back in the 60's using a tiller on our 105 that long belt was a problem when times were good and the belt was 20 bucks ! We'd plow then run the tiller over it and sure enough that belt would catch some sod or get to whipping around get thrown off and torn up ! I suppose if we had a disc to cut it up first may have been easier on belts !:beerchug:

The lines connect to a hydro's fittings you don't have, is what we are trying to tell you.
in other words: you need to install a different hydro that has provisions for hydraulics, it is called a "ported hydro"
then you need the spool valve,
hyd cylinder lines/ hoses,
actuating lever linkage,
and the lift linkages, cross shaft.
ETC.ETC. ETC
Your best bet is either get a tractor that already has hydraulic's or get a donor tractor that has everything you need to do the conversion if you want anything powered by hydraulic.
