LT 1024 deck interchange
 

My LT1024 threw a rod. I see a LTX1046 with no deck for sale cheap. Will my deck fit?

In going to the Cub Cadet parts lookup site, the answer would be NO.

The LT1024 (2004) had a 50" mower deck. The LTX1046 (2009) had a 46" mower deck. In looking at the parts diagram they look different. NO parts information on either deck as a whole.

I figured as much. I knew about the size difference. But thought the mounting system would be the same.
Oh well.

These tractors were sold with the mower deck as part of the tractor. In contrast, the older Cubs were sold as bare tractors, then you purchase the implements (mower decks) to your needs.
