38 or 44?
 

I'm going to put a mower under my 73. 38" or 44"? I have access to a free QA 44" but I have a feeling it'll be too much for the stock 7HP. I already about almost killed it by putting a 48" under it at one point (that was a BAD idea). Should I try to find a 38" instead?

Grew up running a 70 with a 38 deck and it always seemed like a good match for the tractor. Never had a 44 on one, but it just seems like it would be just that little bit to big.

I would agree, a 38" would be a better match.
