Well it's quite late (which I've been very pleased about) but the Western NY winter finally got us today :bash2::bash2::bash2:

Nothing crazy, 3-5", but enough to cover the ground pretty good and make the roads bad. Don't think most of the plow trucks were ready yet. Was enough to cause a 3-car collision too.

More than ever I await the day I bring home a snowplow so I can finally use a Cub to plow, I keep on checkin' the CL in case something pops up!

If municipal trucks weren’t ready by now somebody wasnt doing their job. I made sure ours were ready by October 1st.

I got lucky, only a little freezing rain. Now it's melting. :beerchug:

Usually they're more prepared... They did one heck of a job getting them all out overnight though because this morning all the roads were salted properly!

Over the next few days it's all supposed to melt and then there's supposed to be rain... gonna be even more of a mess than the snow, whole yard's gonna be a swamp like it's spring, and then by Christmas It'll all freeze up again, and then ice! :bash2:

This year the WNY winter can't make up it's mind I guess :biggrin2:

When the high temps for Nov. through Feb. are roughly 30 one doesn't
have to worry to much about swampy stuff. I think I prefer frozen over
mucky. Enjoy
