1541 Restart Problem
My 1541 with a M18 Kohler engine has a restart problem after I run it a hour or two with the PTO engaged. I replaced the battery with a Die Hard auto batt. two months ago and cleaned the post clamps and cable connections. The battery tests 13.5 volts and the initial startup is flawless. After shutting down and trying to restart all I get is a buzzing. I bypassed the solenoid switch and when I turn the key I hear it click but the starter is dead. After sitting in my cold shed overnight it starts without a charge. Is it solenoid, battery or what ? Help !!

1541 Restart Problem
I left the positive battery cable connected to the input terminal of the solenoid or relay switch. I did this to test the ignition key start switch. I next connected a jumper wire to the output terminal of the solenoid, (leaving the red cable wire attached to the solenoid and starter motor)and the other end of the jumper wire connected to the pos. wire on my multi meter. Also grounded the meter to the tractor frame. I wanted to see if I was getting 12 volts down to the starter. When I turned the ignition key to the start position the meter read 11 volts and I could hear a hum or buzz but no starter movement.
