Shipping a tractor ?
I've seen a 127 for a killer price and dang not in bad shape looking anyways. lol
To get it shipped, who would do this ?? FedEx or UPS I am sure would be in the $4 to $500 area. Any ideas? It's a 6 hour drive one way, and my trailer is buried in snow.. lol Thanks |
Fastenal ships cheap

I tried to ship a tiller with Fastenal last summer and they told me because
of the virus they couldn't do it. Hmmm. I asked them what trucking and virus' had to do with each other, they didn't know. Hopefully out east is a little more friendly. MT can be a rather odd place at times. Ken |
IIRC, Fastenal will ship now (CV-19) but not between East and West zones. Check their website. I think you should be good being 6 hours from wherever you are in Vermont. Except maybe Canada....

It will have to be secured to a pallet and crated. All fluids will have to be removed. I shipped a transmission to WA several years ago with Fastenal and those were the rules at that time.
Dig out your trailer and get on the road!! I have done it several time for the right rig? |
thank you to all responses...

dang health... Heck if someone is in NY, near big orange, and wants to make a few bucks. hahha |
I usually use U-haul's utility trailer with the built in/on ramp. It has low a deck, spring loaded ramp and they even hook you up. I rent for 6 hours, same pickup and drop off place for $35.
