Narrow Frame Spring Assist Spring

Is it possible to over-tighten the bolt on the spring assist? I know how hard it is to find a replacement spring and I don't want to damage anything just wandering how much I can crank it down to provide the maximum lift.

Thanks

What are you lifting?

Right now just a snow blade but I bought a #2 tiller that I'm working on, and hope to mount it in the next few months.

Probably gonna need all that spring can do and then some.
Just a moldboard plow is quite a bit.
You have an IH Cub assist or the Brinly unit?
The Cub one is much more heavy duty.
Extreme motors has new springs BTW.

I have the IH cub assist. I didn't know that extreme had the springs, thanks.

Yeah, that's the 2 for 1 spring. You can also use it on the push/plow blade. :beerchug:

Look under plow parts. The plow spring will also work with the spring assist according to the site.
