Crazy electrical question 1810
Hello, today I purchased a very nice clean Cub Cadet 1810. The previous owner stated it had an electrical problem, and the shop he took it to diagnosed it as a bad coil on the Kohler M18. So I purchased it with that in mind. To make this long story short, it did not have spark. But I hooked up the wiring harness in the picture, that had been long disconnected. Still nothing, then I pulled out the fuse and holder in the dash, and it started right up!
It runs perfect, but without this fuse. So what the heck? thanks! |
First, welcome to OCC...........:Welcome2:

Sounds to me like the shop did not spend very much time on it.

If you like, I can send you an 1810 wiring diagram so you can go through the wiring.
:beerchug: |
That would be awesome, there are many mystery wires throughout. My email is mitchj8462@gmail.com

I'll send it in the morning.

The 1810 has two different Wiring Diagrams, depending on serial number range. What is your chassis serial number ??

I will need to check when i get home this evening. I will let you know- thanks!

OK, waiting to hear.
