Mount pattern

I would like to know if I can replace a 16hp Magnum bottom shaft in my CC lawn tractor with a 12hp or so older flathead Briggs. Cub Cadet model is unknown. (Maybe a 1615)

Just used to pull a wagon etc. Not mowing.
