16HP Kohler Coil bolt stripped
 

I have a 1250 that really would be a 1650 now I suppose because it has the 16HP kohler in it. It had been taken apart and the bolt that holds the top side of the coil bracket can no longer be put in. I believe that it goes into the top side of the head but its completely stripped out. any ideas of how to fix it?

I have a 1450, and I relocated my Ignition Coil to the Dash Tower area. I extended the wires and all works fine. No Vibration and no Heat, makes for a happy coil.

Did you relocate for the heat reasons or some other reason? I hadn't thought about that as an option but I suppose that would work for me just the same. Any chance you can provide a pic of the installation?
