What is the correct spark plug for Cub cadet 1605

New member here from Michigan. I just bought a Cub cadet 1605, my first Cub cadet. I have been trying to find out what size spark plugs it uses as I have seen 3 different types listed on the web.

I am not sure of the engine as I can't find the model number but the Serial number is K-457453. I know its a B&S and it says I/C Industrial-Commercial cast iron bore on the sticker on top of the engine.

Does anyone know where I can find a manual or a web site that lists this motor and the type of plugs. I think its the original motor and is a twin. For some reason I can't find any info on this particular model.

Thank you for any info you can give me..

First, welcome to OCC.......... :Welcome2:

In using the Cub Cadet Parts and Service Lookup tab at the top of the page, it reveals the correct Spark Plug is: 759-3332, Spark Plug, Resistor.

Now you can cross that to numerous brand names if you like, but one is Champion RJ12C.

BTW: The 1605 rolled out of the Factory in 1985-86, with a Briggs & Stratton engine: 402707‐0173/0248
