Well.. Part Kansas Flatlander for the past 26 years. Prior to that.. A Missouri Ridge Runner. Born and raised in the Missouri Ozarks, which required to have one leg longer than the other to be able to walk on those Ozarks hillsides.

Now back to the business of joining this Cub Cadet forum.

I own a 2015 Cub Cadet Model 6284 compact tractor. I paid a few penny's over $7,000.00 at a Tulsa auction back in 2016 when Cub Cadet was getting out of the sub compact tractor business. I think this CC 6284 was mfg. some years earlier and Cub Cadet couldn't sell them. Might not be any truth to that story. Anyway, it's a $25,000.00 tractor. Reason I say that, to replace some of the main parts will cost $18,000.00. And one of those parts is a front loader lift boom at a modest fee of $889.00.
