2011 GT2000 Need Help!!!

I have a 2011 GT2000 (14W-3DM-010) 20HP Kohler 42" Cut and need advice and suggestions.
Note: 450 Hours, Battery Voltage is 13.1 volts TODAY
Problem: When I cut grass about 3 weeks ago (I live in coastal SC) I had to stop cutting grass to move a tree limb out of my way. I cut the PTO switch OFF, and set the Park Brake, idled the engine and got off to move the limb. When I returned to the mower, I noticed the blades were still turning. I knew something was not right. Double checked and the PTO switch was OFF. I got on the mower and started pushing/pulling the PTO switch with no change, would not cut off. I started cutting again and continued to Push/Pull the switch and the blades "finally" cut off. Then I pulled the switch back on and the blades worked. PTO switch worked fine for the rest of the cutting time, and the blades were OFF when I put the mower in the garage. Note (Mower has always been stored in a closed in garage.)

Today, I went out to change the oil and started the mower to warm up a bit before I drained the oil. I noticed right away that the blades were turning and the PTO switch was OFF. I could not get the switch to work. (Blades turning, parking brake set, and me OFF the mower) Any help would be appreciated. I sure hope this is not a bad PTO $$$$. If so please let me know the best place to buy and the best PTO to get. :bigthink: Thanks, Riverrat

Unplug the PTO wire near the clutch, if the PTO continues to run,
most times it is a bearing in the clutch that has seized.
Not familiar with your clutch, but most bad bearings can be replaced with minimal work & knowledge
Xtreme makes a quality clutch, someone will chime in here with more help.:beerchug:

Well George, you were spot on. Seized bearing!!!::beerchug: Ordered replacement from "Extreme". Took old one off yesterday after testing. Easy to come off shaft, not rust or debris. I guess it lasted ok for 450 hrs and starting 12th season. Thanks for your help.

Always glad to help, replace the bearing and you will have a spare sitting on the shelf just incase.
