The 1864 is going into retirement
2 Attachment(s)
Got a new grass killer last Saturday so the 1864 / 2264 is going into retirement. I'll still use the Cub for limited jobs but the grass cutting for the most part will now be handled by the new SCAG Turf Tiger. :beerchug:

Good looking mower Sam. That should serve you many years.

Nice new machine Sam. I was thinking about switching over to a zero turn this year but decided to put it off for another year. :beerchug:

That's what I got last year Sam. Mine is the 37HP Vangaurd but yours is probably the 40 that they are using this year. One hell of a machine too. We mow about 8 acres and it cut our time at least in half if not more. I looked at Spartan, Ferris, Kubota and ExMark but chose Scag. I have a little buddy down in Pickens SC that directed me in that direction.:biggrin2:
...................but I didn't retire my 3k machine though.:BlahBlah: Something about that stripe that the 3k's lay down. |
Good deal partner...Nice Machines
Once I mowed with the Bobcat 60" I never looked back... Left more time to tinker... |
Todd I got the 37 Vanguard, way more power than I need. I went from 5 hours of mowing to under 3. It will mow faster than I want to go. :beerchug:
Randy I should have bought one of these years ago. Still keeping the Cub for odd jobs. :beerchug: |
I got a used Zero turn last year that I've been using at my son's house. I still use the tractors at home. There are a few steep places along the road right of way where I feel safer on a tractor. Of course my 10 year old green one is not the same league as that Skag.

That's a sweet looking machine Sam :beerchug: That thing wont just kill grass, it'll pull it up by the roots :biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2:

Nice mower Sam. I retired my Cubs from mowing duty when I got my zero turn 5 yrs ago. I had to pull the 129 off the bench once last year to finish the yard when the drive belt snapped on the zero turn. It’s good to have backups.
