New, My Wife's favorite Tool is Broken
 

My name is JW Fort Covington, in way Upstate NY about 1 1/2 mile from Canada borders. l bought my wife a Cub Cadet LGT-1054 some years back. Now the fareware and torn are starting to come out. I'm not the master mechanic she married, but Army experience of 12yrs tells me, what and where to check. Just need a service manual to identify parts and names. It seems to be leaking oil from one of the twin cylinder.

The LGT-1054 was made over several years. To get you the correct manual, a more complete model number needs to be had. Find the Model/Serial tag on your tractor, and look for something like this: ie 13AKxxxxx or 13Wxxxxx.
