1450 w/ 60” deck?
1 Attachment(s)
Is it possible to adapt a 60” deck system to mount onto my 1450? Would it have enough power to run this if so?
|
#1 The wheelbase is too short to hang a monster 60" deck under the Quietlines. The 60" deck is under the super Gt's with approx, 12" longer wheelbase.
#2 you would be under-powered. An 18 hp would swing a 60" deck if it would fit. :bigthink: |

You need a super to mount a 60” Haban.

A 50C is your largest fitting best bet for that machine. However, I think the 14HP will be really working to turn it in heavier grass.

Thanks for those comments, Really needed to wrap my head around just how big the Haban unit is:bigeyes:. Ive measured the w/b to be just around 44”. I mow with a Scag 48 primarily, so this 1450 with a 38A feels pretty insignificant even as a backup. Almost 2x as long an ordeal to mow my lot. I suppose a 50” will do just fine if i can find one, until i have a super GT to play with.:American Flag 1:

Bud, the 374's are monsters!
Takes 2 guys to pick one up and move it. That's a 6' level, flush with the left side laying on it. And that's without the discharge chute which I do not have. This is one of two I picked up last week for rehab. One will go on my 1782 and the other for sale later. They will be sand blasted, repaired and needed parts replaced, any cracks welded as needed and repainted in Case/IH 935 Iron Guard. |

2 guys can roll them on the back wheels pretty easily. :beerchug: |
Should i be looking for a 50A or C model deck?
