I recently purchased a Cub Cadet 1862. It says 1862 on the side panel but I downloaded a parts catalog and the serial number starts at 821. My serial# is 801849. Is this truly a Cub 1862? It has the power steering and hydro lift and tilt steering wheel. Any help will be appreciated. Will try to send pictures later. Thanks and have a great day. Bob

The 1862 was produced between 1990 to 1992. The serial number range was 800,001 to 836,000.
