Quietline QA42 Exhaust Diverter Ideas?
Have my 76 CC 1250 with a QA42.
I know there is a exhaust diverter already made. I have the factory grill on and is a PITA to get off to get into the exhaust which I will remove for this use. Looking if anyone has any other ideas to help keep the heat directly off the back of the thrower chute or piping they have done for the winter uses.. Just looking for ideas |

IF.........you can find one, here is what Cub Cadet offered in the day.

Hmmm, looks like a short piece of electrical conduit or a tomato juice can and a hose clamp would do the trick.:biggrin2::beerchug:

I use some chrome plated brass sink drain pipe on my 1650. If you find the
right piece, cut out what you want, it fits snug on the OEM pipe and a sheet metal screw holds it in place. I will look for a picture to add. |

Thanks any photos would be great.
I have the one cub part available for the factory diverter piece just wasn’t sure how well it worked before I bought it. Just seeing if there was a better option. |

My apology, I'm still looking for a photo to add. I thought I had a photo in my present computer, but no. Checked a previous computer and nothing there either. I do expect to have a picture soon or take another.
