2284 Rockshaft

I have a frame from a 2284. I bought it like it sits, hated to see it go to scrap. I am trying to pull off all the good parts and I cannot get the rockshaft out of it. Any Ideas, without cutting the frame? Nothing appears to be bent.

You have remove these 2 thingies to remove the rockshaft, look rusty, make'm shiny and see if that helps.

I polished it up best I could and the metal around it and still no go. I will continue to try when I get time.
