Hello from Columbus Oh.
 

Hi guys. My name is Rick and I live in Columbus Ohio.
I have just joined your club and this is my first post to it.
I am the proud owner, I guess you would say that, two IH Club Cadets.
My first purchase was a 1250. Bought it for $50.00 The guy I got it from said the motor was blown. But I'm not real sure about that.
The second is a 1000. I think it has a 14HP Kohler motor on it. The guy I got it from said it would run but would not keep running. I thought it would be a simple carb repair. Oh, buy the way. I got it for $30.00
My next quest is to find the service manuals for these things. So anyone that reads this. If you know where I can get the best manuals to repair them. Please let me know. I've been working on mowers and tractors and tillers for a long time. This is the first time I have bought one just intending to restore it. I think both of these would make great garden tractors. And I intend to bring them both to life.
So. Let me know what you think of my purchase's, and where I can find the manuals.

Binder Books is a good place to get manuals for your Cub(s). Most of my manuals were purchase from them.
