Type/grade of front axle oil?

Would anyone know the type of front axle oil used in a 1996/97 Cub-Cadet 7234 Utility tractor?...80/90 gear oil...85/140??. My service manual, which is 361 pages doesn't indicate the type.:bigthink:

google search only mentions synthetic hyd oil.
does it smell like hyd oil or gear oil?
Does your local cub dealer have an answer? :bigthink:
