Peco Leaf Vac

I have an old peco leaf vac off a 682. This mounted directly to the tractor, it wasnt a pull behind. I have no use for it. I wanted to ask if it was worth anything or should I just cut it up for metal projects. There is no bag and no hoses (which would probably be no good at this point anyways). I believe everything else is there.
It came with a 682 I purchased, I have been hanging on to this because it was too nice to cut up but I am ready for it to not take up so much space.

I'm thinking if your lucky, scrap metal brings $5/100. I'd try and sell it first because you'll probably spend more money on gas to the scrap yard then you'll get for it.

I have 2 of those peco leaf vacs for my cubs. I paid about $150 each for each one with all the parts, except one of them was missing the chute off of the deck, so if you have that part then it should fetch about $100 by itself. As far as the unit without the bagger, then consider it as a "carry all" to carry rocks, wood, trash can (if you life back a long lane), etc., which is how they were originally marketed. It is more than a leaf collection unit!! You may find lots of uses for it besides just leaves. If you are moving snow with a blade, sweepster broom, or a FEL on your cub, it can used as a weight to the rear of your cub, giving you more stability and traction by putting down force on the rear of the tractor where you often need it most. Think twice before you cut it up.....they're not making them anymore!!

Heck, post pictures and if you are not too far away in Ohio, I may come and get it......Very useful to have and I would encourage you to keep it and use it yourself!!

Deck chute is there, Everything is there minus hoses and the bag. Gentleman I got the tractor from said mice got to the bag and got tired of duct taping the hoses so just threw them away.
The metal itself is more valuable to me than scrap price.
I use a pull behind leaf vac on my property, something that small just wouldnt cut it.
I have held off from doing something dramatic with it for the very reason that they dont make them anymore, that and if something happens to my leaf vac motor I might be able to make this one work dunno.
I have kept it under roof since I got it years ago but ready to get that space back now.

I recently scrapped 540lbs, got $45. I only make one run per year or so, anything less and it's not worth the effort.
