What model snow blower is this.
 

I just bought this at an auction because they said it came off a cc 782. It looks complete including chains. No weights.
The serial/model number tag is destroyed.

BTW I paid $27.50 which includes the fees and tax.
Ironically, I paid $61.00 with tax and fees for the canopy that they said came off the 782.

So, what model number is it.

Should be a 450.

Nice find...for cheap too! That looks like a Model 451 with the large pulley to fit 6" pto's. I sold one last year at my yard sale and I still have another one that I am thinking about selling or trading for a deck to fit my 1641. :beer2:

Will it go on a 782? Yep it's heavy but no back was involved.

The 450 and the 451 have the same pulley (756-0506). The difference is in gear box and the 451 has an exhaust shield.

Amazing how inexpensive it was! In a time when the heavy-duty equipment should be bringing a good price, you found one at a bargain!!! Way to go, NICE FIND!!!!

I think it was so cheap because the other bidder fell asleep or because it was the wrong season.

It is a 450. The ratio was less then 2.
Since all I've read on how heavy this is, it might be to heavy for the 782 and me. I think I'm going to sell/trade it for a QA blower.
