38A mower

What is the difference between a 38A and a 38 mower. Will a 38A work on a cub cadet 125. Thanks for any info.

The 38A uses a wider belt to drive it, the center pulley would need to be changed to use on a 125. Check the cub cadet parts lookup to see the part number difference.
