GT2100 does not recharge the battery.

No more replies. Problem solved !

The ground screw of the voltage regulator was not tight enough and a 30A fuse was burned.

Tanks for your infos.

Hello.

GT2100 (2011) 280 hours.

I checked the two wires coming from the stator with multimeter. When the motor is off, there are 4.8 ohms coming from the stator and when the motor is running there is no voltage coming from the stator. Does this conclude that the stator is defective without a doubt?

Any help is welcome !

This should answer your questions

The output from the stator is A.C.
Make sure your meter setting is on A.C.

Positive or Negative ?

Thanks fo reply !

One of the two wires that come from the stator is WHITE and the other is BLUE. Is there a positive and a negative?

AC is alternating current so no positive or negitive

You should have at least 28 volts AC at 3600 RPM. If you don't have that then you have an issue with the stator or flywheel magnets.

I am back this spring 2025 with the same problem. I installed a new voltage regulator and the battery is not charging. The stator is fine, it produces more than 28 volts AC. Does anyone here have a link to a wiring diagram for a GT 2100? Are there any other components that I can check? Thank you for a response.
