Hydro Neutral

All of a sudden the neutral position on my 1862 changed.
Now when I press the brake pedal the hydro does not go to neutral, the tractor wants to move forward a lot.
Can move the lever to where the hydro is in neutral but the lever is not at the normal neutral position.

The linkage that you can see under the tunnel cover looks normal. Maybe something on the pump has shifted??

Any thoughts?

Download the service manual, it explains how to adjust the hydro control

Take a good look at the trunnion springs, they could be shot.

Sounds like you have some missing, broken parts or it's time to rebuild the trunnion. Could be missing the trunnion spring and buttons.

Put a CH 22 in this one years ago. Been my prime mower for a long time. Won't hurt me to put a little work into it. Thanks, Ike
