LTX1040 Slips Going Uphill
 

Thanks for a great forum of help. Please help me find cause and solve for the tractor not able to go uphill. After starting up the hill, it eventually slows to a stop. until I release the right pedal and press it down again.
I have not replaced the drive belt.
Is there an adjustment to increase belt tension?

This is the same tractor the forum helped me on the blades getting out of timing.

OK , how steep is the hill more than 15% ?
What type of tyres AG or standard mower tyres ?
Wet or dry grass ?
How heavy are you ?
These answers will help in getting a resolution
