Thanks

I can tow my 12 ft x 8 ft Aluma trailer with my 106. I have only towed with it empty, though. That said, the spring assist is great for front implements (thrower and front blade) but almost useless with rear implements, i.e., a 10-inch plow, a Brinly box scraper if a cinder block is attached, and even the tiller. It is fine for a rear blade, cultivator if no weight is attached and a disc if no weight is attached. It will pick it up, but sometimes I really had to still almost stand in the footwells to raise the 10-inch plow. The later wide-frame spring assist was a bit better. And Deere tractors from the same time frame as the Cub Narrow Frame tractors The Deere, spring assist really was an assist, as it makes rear implements feel lighter.
My 106 had the OEM electric lift actuator, which I upgraded to a stronger Thompson electric actuator. But it is still slow lifting, like the original Duff-Norton electric actuator. But soon I'll put an actuator speed-up kit on it, and it will give me almost the speed of a hydraulic lift.
