Lt1050 runs strong to start but then dies
 

Got a lt1050 that is running strong to start mowing but then it starts running rough and eventually dies. Replaced fuel filter, carburetor and tried the gas cap and nothing seems to take it away totally. Any help is appreciated.

With what I know it appears to be vapor locking but even with the gas cap loose and I even undid completely and still doing it. What other areas need to be looked at for vapor locking? Thank you

Inspect your gas tank and make sure you don't have floaties continuing to plug it up. They may not make it to the filter and plug the line. I would also drain all the gas from the tank in a white bucket and inspect for water and debris. You may want to change the entire gas line due to its age.
