Kawasaki muffler improvement ideas?
 

I have a 2023 Cub ZT1 50” zero turn, which is MUCH louder than my old Cub LTX1050 rider with the identical engine - mainly because the ZT1 doesn’t come with an engine cover like the rider. I wear earmuffs, which help, but I’d love to quiet it down. No problems with the muffler, per se, it’s just exposed and noisy.

Has anyone figured out a way to add a supplemental muffler? Probably difficult since my muffler has a rectangular - not round - outlet.

Alternatives? Anyone tried to fabricate an engine cover to redirect the noise?
