CC-30 H Forward and Reverse pedal has no resistance
I have a CC-30 H Model #13A221JD010.
The forward and reverse pedal has no resistance. When sitting, with engine running, it falls to forward and takes off. I have called customer service a number of times with no help and I have also called 36 Cub service centers with no help. None of them can figure it out, I would think there would be maybe a spring or ball plunger to at least indicate neutral. We are all looking at the same diagram. I would appreciate any and all help! Thanks |

I'm not familiar with your model but it looks like spring (#15) connects from frame
to that small hole in idler arm (#2). Spring may have broken or become disconnected. That's where I'd start looking. |

Thanks for the input the spring is in place I don't see where that has anything to do with the forward and reverse pedal assy

Just a guess, since it has the motion drive belt pulley's on the idler arm I figured it moves when you move the pedal and the spring would provide the tension.
But moving right along, here's another guess.... Check the return to neutral spring on your hydro, p/n 167. |
Thanks again The spring is there and in the right place

I have a hard time believing that Cub can't solve this problem It shouldn't be this difficult
