LT-1 enduro 42" deck question

I meant XT-1 sorry...

I have tried to get an answer before but here goes...

My mower was cutting uneven, I bought two deck leveling gauges and checked the side to side with the deck lever set at 3"... one side was at 3" the other was at 2 1/2"... so I adjusted it up so the blades were both cutting at 3". Now my deck height lever no longer goes up to the 4" spot, the leveling screw underneath hits the tractor body... thoughts?

here are my numbers:
tires rear 10psi front 12psi
blade height side to side 3"
blade height front and back front 2 3/4" back 3 1/4"

thoughts? does this sound right?
Thanks...

I see you posted this in a few different forums. How about lowering everything (evenly) so that it can be raised to the highest notch?

It sounds like you may have the adjusting Ferrules too high and they are hitting the frame/body.

I thought about that, but technically if I lower the entire deck, then when set at 3" I will actually be cutting lower... I may be missing something so simple... yet why would they design something with height numbers that don't match the blade height? I think I'm doing something wrong....

According to manual:
Tire pressure should be 14 psi front and rear,
deck height should be adjusted to 4" with height handle set at "4",
front to back, blades should be 1/4" to 3/8" lower in front, adjusted by front stabilizer bar.

figured out the issue...

I went back and adjusted the deck so i could get the lever back in the 4" slot... I then measured the blade height this time double checking with my tape measure....The CHEAP amazon blade height gauges I bought are a 1/2" off:bash: so I releveled the deck at 4" and all is good now.
