Ag and tri rib tires
 

Hello everyone, looking for input on getting some new Ag tires and for the rear and some tri-rib for the front. Where have you found success finding these. I had a guy locally that I bought from for my QL1000 but he has gotten out of the business. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Chris

I have Vredestein on two non-power-steering tractors. I plan to transition those tractors over to the Tri-Rib from Firestone. You can get thicker ply rears from this place. https://www.ebay.com/itm/385480196780 I have those rears on my Cub 3208. Most of my IH Cubs do have the 4-ply True Powers on the rear. But from Miller, shipping the 6-ply Halbreds from eBay ends up being a better deal. :ThumbsUp:

I like the skinnier 4's on the front for ease of turning. Depending on the tractor, but my personal preference for the O's, 70's series, and 100, I like the skinny ags as duallies on the back. Reverse the inner set to allow access to the valve stems. That will also give you a narrower stance if you have tighter spaces to fit your tractor in. Carriage bolts can link them together

So far all the suggestions have been very helpful. I have a question. My current tires are 20x8-8 in the rear. My neighbor has a new pair of 20x10-8. Would those work with my current wheels? If so I will buy those off of him. Thank you, Chris

Those will fit On Your rims without Issue

May sound dumb, how do you mount a 10" rear tire on a 12" QL 1000 rim? or am I missing something.....

To me that means it is approx. 20" Diameter, approx. 8" wide and 8"rim where the tire mounts.
I thought a quiet line had 12" rims also as Minion mentioned, where the tire mounts, but since I don't have a quiet line I 'don't know.

Sorry for the confusion. This is for my JD that I have. I didn't want to out myself that I have a mixed house.
